In a thread in the Mech Hanger, there was mention of aircraft having scripted flights overhead.  I think it would be cool if it went beyond that and had had actual dogfights taking place overhead.  It wouldn't be necessary for them to be real.  Maybe the game could detect if there was a decent sized battle taking place.  It might then spawn a few fighters with very simple AI to fly around  and fire missiles at each other.  The game occasionally might make one spontaneously explode, but it doesn't need to keep track of hits or anything.  It would all be for just for looks anyway.   The demo of the game "All Aspect Warfare" made me think of this.  Never before has any game made me feel like Im actually in a battle the way that game does.  Its mostly the aircraft flying around that does it for me, and I think faking it would be enough.

Not sure if its feasible or beyond the scope of the game, but this IS a wish-list Grin

I know in the past we have played a bit with some of the AI in the helicopters but nothing to extensive...we had some issues getting their 2nd layer rotors working at that time when we were using them at GDC/AGDC whichever it was....

Good suggestion though, I think it would definitely add to the overall sense of combat immersion....i'll see what can be done about it...add to the wishlist Cheesy
