editI was wondering what the targeting system would be like in Force of arms and never really found anything specific, (unless I missed it, theres a lot of forum to search) I would like to see a variant of this if possible, but it is just something that popped up in my head.

I'm not sure how to put this, so I'll use a thought from "That other game"

I'm being flanked by an enemy mech, I want to shoot at him, while I am also aiming my torso mounted weapons at the guy in front of me and making sure I don't walk into a building/tree/ anything that could stop my mobility because we all know, stationary targets = ded.  Would I be able to designate say the 40mm Depleted Uranium round Gatling gun mounted on my left arm to point via computer control at the guy on my left and shred his cockpit glass. so I can still focus on where I am going and continue targeting the guy in front of me.

Basically, having to use pov snap to try and get your targeting reticle for your left or right arm to target an enemy mech on your flank, while looking at the bare metallic wall of your mechs cockpit stinks.

What about having a holographic layout in your cockpit that you can click a point on the mechs body and designate said weapon to that point, then look back forward through your standard viewport so you can still drive and figure out how your gonna survive this one.

Almost like a fire and forget system, but merely so you can concentrate on other things in front of you for the moment.

Your Kung Fu is strong, but nothing beats a PBC round through the cockpit.

I would like to see this. The main issue i had with MW was when dealing with multiple targets, you had no way to  say "left arm fire at this target, while i concentrate the other weapons at this target."
you were forced with a fight or flight decision since most of you attention had to be devoted to just one target.

i dont see why the arms cant work independently of each other.

All I can say is that the devs have said you will be able to target multiple targets at once.  As you said, if you have an arm that can move there is no need to look at the target on your left to get the weapons or your left to fire.  As far as layouts, I'm insure on this.  I know some of it will depend on the type of cockpit you have.
