Not sure what you mean by animals... if you mean "will there be pets?"  possibly...

If you mean "will you be out fighting animals"?  Depends, but I'd say more unlikely than likely.

The world is in the process of being terraformed, odds are there isn't going to be much life on the planet at first.

oh.  i meant animals or creatures in general.  Thinking of it, if there isn't any animals to fight, does that mean its totally pvp?

There is life...albeit, not ordinary life as you are used to....

For instance, you will not go out and kill a rat, unless in came in onboard a transport of some sort, you would more like encounter that sort of thing in a warehouse on an outpost.

As opposed to say the Tridecca, which was talked about here:  Grin

There is life, not the kind you probably want to meet though, its a harsh evironment and life is assuredly adapted to that environment, whereas you are not, be it plant or animal.   Shocked

And doubtful to be using Mechs to fight animals.  Yeah there will be some big creatures out there, but that would be the exception and not the norm.  Plus if using a Mech to kill animals, expect little to none to be looted.  Not much remains but ashes, blood or slime from being hit by large caliber weapons.

Not unless I want to waste my 200mm ammunition to kill a rat.  laugh

P.S. Is "monster-killing" become one of the quests? Or not?

But we're a Green Company, really.  We telecommute, helps to save gas.  Save the Watt and the Planet.  Go Green!   Smiley

Did that work?

Or do you still want sheep?

Why does PvE automatically mean animals? It's not like games don't have PvE against humans.

If this is an Evangelion reference: Shinji is a whiny little girl. He should be beaten with a sock full of Midol and tampons until he either toughens up or dies of internal bleeding, whichever comes first.

If not: Oops, my bad.

Back on topic, I hope we generally won't be using mechs to fight monsters. It's a sci-fi game. I'm not saying sci-fi can't have the occasional rancor monster, but 90% of the time you should be fighting droids...I mean mechs...
