Heck, Spambots easily defeat such checks, so why make it harder for you.

How extensive will hacking be? Just a module or gizmo's that does the work for you? Or will there be a whole other deal for players to learn?

This might be a bit overboard, but if a player wishes total control over say, a mech, or automated defense systems, a manual attempt must be made. EX. The player must know the computer language in order to attempt to hack a system. Then the needed roll would be made to determine success or failure.

Hacking into a mech's computer systems, and then being able to literally change the source code of that would be rather interesting. Only those with the time and patience to learn another language would excel at.

again, this is supposed to be a game, which is why i must throw in there it may be too much.

Actually, what I thought about computer hacking, say...a Mech for example, would cause the pilot to eject out of it rather than controling the mech while the pilot is still inside, just like it happens with the Battle Armor in Mech Assault.

Perhaps.....

but then again....it may be just a Trojan Horse that attached itself to the Kernal and is explicitly delving out instructions unbeknownst to all....
