Problems with the animated avatars?
«
on:

My animated avatar stopped moving today after I addedd a personal text line, I tried to revert it and even reloading the avatar again, but failed, is there any problems with the forums about it?

It seems that it has been changed to a .PNG file instead of the .GIF. I will look into weather or not the site did this. If you have tried to re-upload the .GIF and it still did not work try using the direct link method from another site like photobucket for the time being. Or post a link to the original and I can see if it will work if I do it for you.
Another question, what is the original size of the image. Avatars that are automatically resized by the site are saved as .PNGs. The only other option is a .JPG but if the image is only a little it larger then I can see about upping the avatar size a few pixels to facilitate your avatar, but I do not wish to increase it by too much.

Also, when I said I reloaded it, I tried the link I used it for and even loading it from my own computer via the profile page.

The hamster of doom has been fix. It is recommended from now on to use external sites for your avatars and just link them, this will allow them to be resized properly and keep any animations they may have.

@Shadow Star: Never use Photobucket. Use Imageshack instead. The internet is littered with those damn Photobucket "bandwidth exceeded" icons. It's a really crappy host.

I agree, I much prefer imageshack for all of my image storage content.
