Heck, Spambots easily defeat such checks, so why make it harder for you.

Rewards for conquest
« on: November 11, 2007, 11:08:37 AM »
I believe there should be some kind of reward system for each faction for conquering or retaining control of a town or outpost. Here is my idea:

City: Cheaper parts as most cities have some kind of production capability. Supply and demand dictates the more you have of something, the cheaper things become. maybe 0.5%+- off of base price for every city owned or lost.

Research centers: New parts become available to winning faction, access to parts is lost by losing faction. If the part is owned by individual pilots of losing faction, they keep it, but are unable to replace it if lost or destroyed. Could be access to new mechs or vehicles as well.

Outpost: Extends an early warning system that allows a faction to see incoming enemy forces. Nothing concrete beyond knowing something is out there.

airfields/seaports: Resupply stations and pickup/dropoff points for rapid transport across the planet. Losing these could be a major crimp if it is how reinforcements are getting to a major battle.
Say a prayer, and draw a card.
