I was going through my old movies last night, looking for a diversion and came accross a movie i have not seen for quite some time.  It's called RobotJox.  It is a fun attempt at a furturistic mech type movie in which the worlds countries have started using 1 v 1 bot combat to settle land disputes and the like instead of using large armies.  Although the acting is a little on the wayside, the actual combat scenes are not that bad.  it also incites some unique views of how Mechs would be commanded, supported and react under certain conditions.

If you have never seen this movie and are a big mech fan,  take a little time out of your busy life and watch it.  It is a dated movie though so dont expect a special effects load out matrix style.  It does offer a nice diversion for a little while however and may spark some thought process.

That brings up an interesting thought.  Has Wardog thought about posting their trailer on YouTube or Google video?  Wouldn't hurt to get that part of the internet community looking at it.

just a thought

Yes, as far as I know all of our trailers are posted on youtube and other similar sites.

Oh, and loved Robot Jox.  Grin

I loved that movie..so much that I morphed a mech warrior campian into something similar. All my friends and I drew up Nations much like risk and fought over them. Was a Blast! I remember my little pewter Orion won me a ton of battles.. Shocked still have that figure to this day lol.

No matter how exotic human civilization becomes, no matter the developments of life and society nor the complexity of the machine/human interface, there always come interludes of lonely power when the course of humankind, depends upon the relatively simple actions of single individuals.
