The Umi Industries was the result of fast food, toy, and vacation corperations being merged....the giant head corperation are the old japanese game companies. What sets them from all other corps is a Giant WATER MAKING MACHINE...
The settlement is literally a japanese vegas with, casinos, pools, water parks, amusment parks, hotels and of course conventions. The area is in side a beautiful eco dome. the inside is similar to Japn's country side, with giant pagodas, which are the casinos/businesses. the entire center is a giant river, which is supplied via a waterfall, which connects to lake, where residents live.
the army is relitively small, only about 200 men who wear all blue camoflouge uniforms.A few of them wield senkan carbines, many have small hand guns, and mostly own vibro katanas.
the main export, water keeps them above the rest in some way. The CIS has made a very archaic version of their machine, do to their isolationist nature. This has caused Umi and CIS to keep away and harbor a dislike for each other.
the senkans and Umi Indst, have a formal peace agreement, they are practically business partners. The senkan protect the Umi from any hostillities. for an odd reason, they have not staged any takeovers.....
