Lol, true, very true. I don't blame the noobs but I prefer testers who were in the community and know about the game well enough Wink

   Hello all.
I am visiting from mmorpg.com as well. I have played some mecha games before and I'm wondering, will mech's here be more of MechWarrior style (lot's of guns and stuff) or more Front Mission way (hand held weapons, some shoulder mounts). Also wanted to ask if there will be melee weapons.
I liked everything I've seen so far. Being independant from major companies, no XP grind, mortal bosses and all. Wish you good luck with the game. Gona go readup on the forum now = )

P.S. Can someone translate FM5 already?

Howdy.

For Mechs, they will be diversified, meaning essentially that nearly all forms of Mech designs will be possible; from walkers (tanks on legs), to Mech with internal weapons, to soldier/suit Mechs (mostly using external weapons, such as hand weapons).  Each design type has its advantages (such as using external weapons allows for quick reconfiguration time, but provides less protection to the weapons).

Various forms of melee weapons are allowed, though engaging in melee (close) combat is not the norm.

Its about time we get a new warfare game

If passable I had an idea for the the game I played a game called age of armor online where you had your mech and a person as well that you played as when you interned a town so it wasn't just your mech.  I just thought that was a good feature to have.  also for those of you who played freelancer the ability to dock your ship and enter the station I thought that would be great if you were able to move around in bases like that just an idea i thought id throw out there.

Stumbled across FOA by accident.   Sounds awesome some far - although I've never played an MMOG before so there is some trepidation here also.   Just want to let you know this niche game probably won't go un-noticed.

Heard you guys on a Witty Ranter podcast over at Virginworlds.  and have been exploring your site for a few days now.   Love the lore and the mecha designs yall have come up with.   If I'm going to skulk around on the site I might as well be a member right?  Grin

From Medyl Industries: Lukron Might is Right!

From going to get in trouble for this but I wanted you guys to know  things are going and we want this thing, "the game as much as you do!"

Below are some of my ideas being implemented  for Lukron Tank Mechs:

Granted these models may change, but this gives you an idea n how I want the Lukrons to appear,....function over aesthetics!
