So I'm wondering if you'll be able to re-use enough of each product to make the phased release worthwhile.

Well, as we currently are in the loop about, the 2.5d (flash version) is on hold until further notice fully dependent upon MV actually completing their portion of the work required. That, however; has not stopped us from both producing asset work or working on the world, which continues in full. 3D models continue to come out of the pipeline as well as new code placed in the world. Including the demo.

Any Idea when MV will get the lead out or do you have to ride herd on them to get anything done?

We don't get to much information out of them on the status of their flash portion of the product, the original announcement was back in December with the last public info stating :

"PostPosted: Tue Dec 23, 2008 11:44 am    Post subject: @ Draive     Reply with quote
What we're currently working on is isometric, though we plan to extend the platform to include other formats, such as top-down, side-scroll, and room based Flash front-ends."

Assuming they are still working to extend the formats at this point, but to my knowledge*, that is where they're at with it.

*Hamilton has always had more direct contact with Ron and the rest of the MV team then myself, so he may have more info. They have been quiet on the boards overall for some time though.
