![]() Without faster-than-light travel, the only supplies and vehicles initially available must come from the space fleets. No further supplies can be counted on. Future building materials must be salvaged or pulled from the planet in some manner. The world is virtually unexplored and weather conditions can be extreme. The planet is in dire need of terraforming for prolonged existence. Sustained survival outside of a shelter is impossible for humans. The blowing sands tend to wreak havoc on vehicles as well. There is likely to be at least one metropolis on the planet by this time, which is the initial landing point for a number of convoys. Your settlement may have landed elsewhere, been a splinter group, etc. Settlements can have up to 40 years to have become established at a maximum. They are to be no larger than a township. If your concept requires things such as unique geologic formations, describe them in detail. The goals and structure of the settlement are your own to decide. The development team is willing to try and answer questions you may have as you advance your ideas in the forums. |
